WHAT IS THE USAGE ALLOWANCE IF WE PLAN THROUGH BALKAN
It depends on the Airlines but normally 22kg are allowed within summer and 20 kg for the winters. But make sure that flight and airlines do not include hold luggage in the price. Hold luggage is added at the time of booking.
WHAT IS HAND LUGGAGE PERMISSION?
Usually, one piece of hang baggage for one person not more than 7 kg weigh is allowed for hand baggage for almost all airlines. Weight over 7 kg should be carried in the baggage hold and marked as checked baggage.
WHAT ABOUT INFANT BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE?
Infants below 2 years of age are eligible for 10Kgs checked in luggage. A collapsible push chair, baby car seat and cot for the infant will be carried without any cost.
ARE THE FLIGHTS OFFERED MEALS?
Meals are not offered on Balkan Holidays Air flights, however, variety of drinks and snacks are available for purchase on board. Our customers can simply order hot or cold drinks along with light snacks from our cabin crew. For customer travelling with any other airline, please see the details on respective websites.
WHAT IS THE BENCHMARK FOR TRAVELLING FOR PREGNANT WOMEN?
The International Airline Rules states as after 28 weeks at the time of return flight. Such customers would have to submit a medical certificate to prove their fitness for travelling. After 32 weeks, permission for travelling is not allowed.
CAN SKI / SNOW BOARD BOOTS BE TAKEN AS HAND LUGGAGE?
For Balkan Holidays Air customers, ski or snowboard boots are allowed as hand luggage as long as if this is only hand luggage. Every customer is allowed to carry only one piece of hand luggage with a maximum weight of 7 kg only.
ARE TRANSFER TO AIRPORT IS INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE?
Customer travelling on Balkan Holidays Package can avail the facility of transfers. The facility will be displayed on the confirmation invoice and not on the E-Ticket. If any of the customer is travelling on some other airlines, he may check on the airline website if the transfer is included or not on the relevant airline.
WHAT IF I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY TICKET OR THERE IS ANY DELAY IN GETTING THE TICKET
Some Airlines including Balkan Holidays Air are issuing E-Tickets means they are ticket less airline. Customers can check the flight with only their passports. The E-Ticket will be mailed to the customers if they have booked online. Customers will have to arrange to print this and bring it with them during holiday trip for their reference. There are no separate vouchers for hotels and transport for customers of Balkan Holidays.
IS THERE A FACILITY OF USING TWO CARDS FOR AN ONLINE BOOKING
Unfortunately no. One card should be used at the time of online booking for payment of deposit amount. On payment of the full deposit amount, customers can visit the My Booking section on the online website and pay any additional or extra amount off your with the same or any other debit or credit card.
IS THERE ANY INSTALLMENT PLAN FOR HOLIDAYS?
Yes, this the beauty of Balkan Holidays. Once any of our customers paid the minimum deposit amount required by Balkan Holidays, he can pay off the remaining amount in installments through Manage My Booking option available on the online website. The facility can be discussed and avail by calling our Accounts Department during working days.
WHAT IS BALKAN HOLIDAYS LOYALTY BONUS?

DO YOU HAVE ANY REPRESENTATIVE DURING OUR HOLIDAY DESTINATION?
During the entire period of your holiday trip with Balkan Holidays, there is a dedicated Representative from the local Ground will be there to take care of you. The representatives will meet and greet you at the airport, be in contact with you during your plan, and say goodbye to you at the end of your travel plan.
WHAT IF I LOST OR DAMAGED MY LUGGAGE?
If any such unfortunate incident happened, customer is required to properly fill in the Property Irregularity Report before leaving the airport building and keep a copy of the report with them for future records. The airline ticket and the luggage sticker must be kept for reference. The Airline will only accept the responsibility for any loss or damage, if proper Report and other documents are provided to them.
